We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Internet Sales Manager to lead and manage our online sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive sales and a proven track record of success in managing and nurturing a high-performing sales team. This individual will be responsible for generating and converting internet leads, setting appointments, and ensuring exceptional customer service through digital channels.

Responsibilities
  • Build lead and motivate a high-performing internet sales team to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Manage and respond to internet leads promptly ensuring a quick and effective follow-up process
  • Schedule appointments and maintain a minimum shown ratio of 50% or better
  • Utilize exceptional phone and communication skills to engage with potential customers and set appointments
  • Handle third-party leads from automotive platforms to generate sales and drive dealership revenue
  • Work evenings and weekends as needed to support the dealership’s sales objectives
  • Maintain accurate records and track sales activities through CRM tools
  • Train and coach team members on best practices for internet sales and appointment setting
  • Collaborate with the dealership’s marketing team to develop and refine strategies for online sales growth
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the online buying process maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor
Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 2 years of proven automotive new dealership sales experience is required
  • Performance: Ability to make a minimum of 100 calls per day and set no less than 5 appointments per day
  • Skills: Strong ability to build and manage a successful sales team; Self-motivated

  • and career-focused; Proficient in handling internet leads and setting high-quality appointments; Exceptional phone and communication skills; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; Preferred experience with Vin Solutions or a similar CRM platform
  • Other: Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
