This is a high paced, intense job, requiring extensive mechanical knowledge, and a high level of motivation. The Parts Back Counter or Parts to Service is responsible for selling Parts to the Service Department, our largest customer. This individual will communicate with the Service Technicians, Service Writers, and Parts Distributors to ensure we meet customer expectation on ETA's. This will be a M-F position and pay will vary depending upon experience. Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in selecting required parts or accessories in a friendly professional and efficient manner
  • Locates or orders parts as needed
  • Prepares invoices for parts to be delivered to customers
  • Effectively communicate with Service Department
  • Keeps parts manager informed on the status of accounts
  • Maintains professional appearance.
Qualifications
  • Stable work history with demonstrated success
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbally and in writing
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Recommended parts experience includes Ford - GM - Chrysler - and other foreign models
  • Experience with CDK (ADP) also a plus.
