The Parts Counter Person will play a crucial role in assisting customers and technicians with their parts needs, ensuring accurate orders and exceptional service. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities
  • Assist retail customers in selecting required parts or accessories in a friendly professional and efficient manner
  • Locates or orders parts as needed
  • Prepares invoices for parts to be handed over the counter
  • Answers retail phone calls and assists customers over the phone
  • Follow up with customers over the phone on special order parts
  • Keeps parts manager informed on the status of accounts
  • Maintains professional appearance
Qualifications
  • Stable work history with demonstrated success
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbally and in writing
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Recommended parts experience includes Ford - GM - Chrysler - and other foreign models
  • Experience with CDK (ADP) also a plus.
